Formen der Flexive

Flexive kΓΆnnen in unterschiedlichen Formen auftreten; dabei sind vor allem drei MΓΆglichkeiten zu unterscheiden:

β€’ die Flexionsaffixe (FlexionsprΓ€fixe, Flexionssuffixe/-endungen) wie etwa -st (geh-st) im Deutschen fΓΌr die 2. Person Singular bei Verben oder -s im Englischen fΓΌr den Plural der Substantive (boot-s).
β€’ den Vokalwechsel (Ablaut, Umlaut), mit dem im Deutschen manchmal der Plural der Substantive (VΓ€ter) oder im Englischen ebenfalls der Plural (feet) ausgedrΓΌckt werden.
β€’ einfache VokallΓ€ngung wie in lateinisch casus (der Fall), woraus der Plural casΕ«s entsteht.
